3D Images

The main remit of this study was to draw up a 3D model of the Numantia site by means of photogrammetry. This has involved Pix4D processing of over one thousand seven hundred photographs taken from a programmed drone flight at a height of forty metres and twenty metres for certain zones. The result was hosted on the Sketchfab 3D display programme. To make this accessible to a wider public, and with the further object of using this model in a documented and elucidated context, this has been topped up with some objects found in the excavations, which are on display in the Numantine Museum of Soria. These small objects were processed in PhotoScan. This is not an exhaustive compilation but it does allow readers, by means of these new image technologies, to find out about some of the main findings on the archaeological site.
